Imagine stepping out of the room for a few minutes and returning to find your 5 year old gone...and he's still missing 8 months later.
That is the nightmare Michael Vaughan's parents, Tyler and Brandi, are living in.
When Brandi left for work, "Monkey" was on the couch playing his Ninetendo switch. When she came home in a rush after a phone call from Tyler, the neighborhood was flooded with police and people were searching for her son.
There has been no sign of the adorable little boy with the nonstop energy. Hundreds of tips have led nowhere, as have 3,000 acres searched.
What happened to Monkey? We discuss his case today in hopes of keeping it out there and bringing him home.
Michael was last seen wearing a light blue Minecraft t-shirt, dark blue boxer briefs and child’s size 11, blue flip flops. He is 43 inches tall, weighs 50 lbs., and has blonde hair and blue eyes. He answers to the nickname “Monkey.”
